Compare GS Pay by Locality Pay Area and Year
Pick a grade, a step, and a base area, then add the areas to compare. The choices stay in the page's address, so you can share them.
How the comparison works
Each amount is OPM's published annual rate, with locality pay, for the grade and step in that area's table. The difference is the area's amount minus the base area's amount, and the percent is that difference divided by the base area's amount, rounded to one decimal place.
Amounts limited by the pay cap are marked Capped. Two capped amounts are the same, so the difference between them is $0.
When YepGS has OPM's tables for the year before, the comparison also shows how each area's amount changed from that year, with the change in its locality pay.
